The City of London is a city within the bigger London, capital city of Britain. It is the heart of London. It has a very interesting history, having been burned down and arisen to prominence again. It is in the biggest city in Europe, the most populated city in the United Kingdom. Most of the inhabitants are of Roman origin but currently there are over 300 languages spoken within London only. This is because London was a part of the Roman Empire more than 2000 years ago. It was a business hub with very many commercial activities taking place. That introduced many people from many lifestyles to this region to exchange in trade. The city was historically aligned to the Roman wall and many historical buildings are still found here, there was a fire in 1966 that almost destroyed buildings like the St Paul’s cathedral, Leadenhell Market that is currently a huge shopping mall, London wall as well as the Tower of London. They have now been refurbished and they attract very many tourists who gaze in awe at their historical standing. Modern architecture has been embraced by the introduction of glass buildings such as Lloyds of London and Gherkin. London is the most visited city in the world with an ultra modern airport and excellent forms of land travel. It is also the most watched city in the world and even criminals concur that here, it is very difficult to commit a crime. Greatest universities are found in London and many people visit the city here to study. This has enabled London to evolve fast as a modern education and business hub. It is the only city to host the summer Olympics three times. The healthcare facilities are state of the art, good infrastructure and communication facilities make the city of London unique. For tourists, London has a lot to offer for indoor and outdoor tourism. There is no limit to the museums, art galleries, restaurants and pubs. Can you Search the points on the map?
