In the high points of America lies a lovely state surrounded by mountains of pure rocks. It is surrounded by some of the highest mountains in United States, with the highest being 14,000 feet. This state also boasts having the largest plateau in whole world. The mountainous scenery makes this place the love of many tourists. Nicknames have been given to this state for its significance; even the reknowed Roosevelt once appreciated its natural beauty. Apart from being naturally endowed, it leads in the manufacturing of medical and scientific equipments. In addition, it is the base of mining and it contributes heavily to America’s national economy. Most of the agricultural production in United States is based here. The rocky mountain state takes pride in having good tourist attraction sites that range from natural to historic spots. In summer, the golden beams of sunset reflected by the rocky surfaces of the mountains, have given many memorable moments every year. The tourist industry has really improved their services to serve the growing customer base. The availability of a variety of summer activities such as amusement parks makes it even more fun for you and the family. Good resorts have been established to ensure that you completely enjoy your stay. The state has more in store than its topography. You will enjoy the various cultures of its citizens. Art galleries are full of explicit artifacts that tell more on the history of this popular place. As opposed to many other states whose tourism goes down on the onset of winter, in this state life goes on. Several activities that the citizens engage in make these cold months bearable. Some of the most enjoyed activities include Ouray Ice Festival, a competition that involves climbing ice and Ice sculpting festivals that see people from all over the world compete in sculpting objects from solid ice.
