Among the constituent cities of Kansas in United States is a city that is surely a hive of activities. Actually, it is the county seat for the county of Douglas. It is located on the banks of rivers Wakarusa and Kansas. This city started as a political centre but later became a lot more diverse. Presently, it acts as an industrial centre. It houses a number of industries for manufacturing, agriculture and education. Besides being an administrative centre, the city has more to offer as far as aesthetic beauty is concerned. Among the places that open their doors to thousands of visitors every year, is a historical museum that is situated within the compound of the popular Kansas University. Any moment you are in Kansas, just go in and make a trip in the museum; it will be very beneficial and informative. Watching skeletons of dinosaurs believed to have lived more than million years ago may be frightening for your kids but it will give them an opportunity of shaking hands with the past. It has an array of collections in research and teaching in the field of Biology. You will enjoy all that under no cost, unless you want to give some contribution to the museum for preserving a great deal of history for you. The city also boasts of a beautiful indoor sports arena known as Allen Field house. This place acts as the home for Kansas’ male basketball team. It is the largest court in the whole world. If you are on vacation, it will be a grievous mistake if you left without setting foot to this court to watch basketball live. These are just but a few of what this city holds. I know you have never heard of farming in the city but this state is home to the best farms all over the nation. 16% of all the farms in United States are here. Can you find this city?
